Animal Medical of New City is an AAHA accredited full service companion animal hospital. What You’ll Be Working On

● Greet clients, answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries

● Schedule appointments and setup new clients and patients; monitor daily schedule and flow

● Able to convert cold calls and warm leads into new client visits

● Responsible for payment processing and ensuring accurate client medical records

● Exhibit attentiveness, patience, and compassion while working with clients and patients in various emotional states

● Assist in cleaning the clinic, which includes ensuring the reception area is stocked, clean and welcoming

Qualifications

● Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required

● Minimum of 1 year working in a customer service role required

● Prior experience in the veterinary industry preferred

● Working knowledge of standard industry terminology and pet care products

● Demonstrate critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

● Highly motivated, with a passion for animals and providing great customer service

● Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity

● Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

● Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

● Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives

● Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
